I started these small studies as a way of capturing quickly my subject of interest..mainly the ocean, sky, sometimes with a foreground of wild grasses and flowers, or sandbars and beach.    There is such endless variety in it, the weather and light changing so quickly.   I hope these small paintings express that continual flux.  Also they makes for affordable original paintings!
